Monumental spaces, such as the ones at Reliant Park, are not only grand in their capacity for people and events, but also function as vast and immeasurable repositories for our indelible memories. In a sense, Reliant Park becomes a staging area for significant moments in peoples lives. Using the rail station as a symbolic portal, the artwork opens the door to these memories for the visitors.
