You are Here is a digital composition which maps the viewers location (red dot) within the city over an 1800’s land ownership map of Houston and an historic illustrated postcard of its downtown building with the Rice Hotel figuring prominently. The artwork becomes a literal and imaginative historic wayfinding system.
