CORE Design Studio was selected by METRO to create a unique public artwork that integrated their new building lobby and ride store with the adjoining Transit Center, sidewalks and Light Rail Station.

This idea was inspired by METRO’s Lost and Found department. The recovery and cataloging of lost objects from METRO’s passengers acts as an almost anthropological collection reflecting the culture, habits and diversity of contemporary humans or “modern man”. We have created a literal “Lost and Found”, where visitors to the building, transit center or area are encouraged to participate or hunt for the curious lost objects from the Lost and Found department.
