A collaboration with Longoria Peters Architects to create the artwork for Grissom Elementary Spark Park.

Concept: If the sun was scaled and positioned to one full city block of Downtown Houston, lets say to Reliant Energy ,The Earth (sculpted from foam and Fiberglass) at Grissom Elementary is proportional in size and positioned of its orbit • The environmental graphics tell the story of Astonaut Gus Grissom as well as the scale of solar system and its various planets. It serves as a learning tool to the teachers, children and community. The site also includes 4 cast concrete moons which are in relationship to the size and orbit of the earth.
