Etched in pavers, running the entire length of the station is a timeline of medical history from 100bc to today. On the Northbound side of the station, the column cladding, has biographical information and corresponding imagery and symbols, of ten individuals from the world’s medical community ranging from Hippocrates to Watson/Crick, while the Southbound side consists of ten contributors to Houston’s Medical Advancements with notable figures such as Dr. Denton Cooley and Dr. “Red” Duke.
